Brothers in Arms

No Christmas Carols for the end of this year, but a song that had to wait for being recorded for almost a year. I started playing this nice arrangement by Yoni Schlesinger during last year’s Christmas Holiday. Somehow I couldn’t find a nice ending and I put the whole song “in the fridge”. This month I arranged the ending and finally it’s done! I really tried to give you the feeling of Mark Knopfler’s soothing voice. Hope you enjoy it!

A Whiter Shade Of Pale

A Whiter Shade Of Pale
Finally, I finished this arrangement! Based on an arrangement by Martin Tallstrom, but after listening to the original I wanted to add some of the organ riffs. I also couldn’t resist adding some more bass notes, and finally I started listening very carefully to the lyrics as I wanted the melodie to match as much as possible. So here we are. A Whiter Shade Of Pale, version 3.4

Cavatina

Cavatina – S. Myers
This piece is the limit for my small hands and short fingers!
I’m really considering buying a señorita guitar, as I already could feel the old injury in my wrist coming back a little bit.
The injury was caused by a bad posture taught by my teacher at the conservatorium who told me to play through the pain. I was wearing a brace for my wrist and for a long time I couldn’t even cut the food on my plate as it hurt so much.
I was referred to a specialist in the hospital who asked me to bring the guitar so we could check my posture together. That made so much sense! We found a way to relax my wrists and also I learned to accept and respect my limitations.
So my next recording will be something less stressful for my hands.

Stille Nacht

✨ Tabs & notes available, drop a comment if you are interested! ✨

It’s the first week of Advent, I thought I put you already in the mood for Christmas with this recording of “Stille Nacht” (Silent Night). Luna seems to like it. 🐾😴
I was actually warming up for recording “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, but then Luna was so cute that I couldn’t resist publishing on youtube.

Time

I needed a little bit of “Time” to sort myself out after a lot of things happened in my life.
Finally I came to recording again. The ironic part is, that, the moment I was recording this piece, my brother had an accident. He was hit by a car while he was biking. 😢
My brother was very lucky, looks like he will fully recover, and I am very thankful!

The arrangement of “Time” by Hans Zimmer for guitar is made by Eiro Nareth, with a bit of changes by myself.
The percussion would come out better on a steel string guitar; I am still looking for one that talks to my soul. 😊
